This Italian Lakes 3 bedroom rental is a modern first floor 3 bedroom apartment located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Maggiore. The apartment sleeps up to six guests and is well equipped. Guests enjoy use of a superb swimming pool and jacuzzi within the resort. There is also a restaurant on site as well as a bar and cafe.
This Italian Lakes 3 bedroom rental is modern and contemporary and comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher whilst there is a communal washroom in the basement of the building, with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is one bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom whilst the other two bedrooms both have twin beds. These can be pushed together in the second bedroom if required to form a large double. Both the ensuite bathroom and family bathroom are equipped with shower, bidet, sink and toilet.
Outside, this Italian Lakes 3 bedroom rental has a private terrace with table and chairs and views of the hills. The apartment is accessed via either stairs or a lift.
Please note that there is a compulsory energy fee of 90 euros per stay which is to be paid locally in cash on arrival.
Maccagno is a popular lakeside town boasting a number of restaurants, bars and cafes all within walking distance of the apartment. The nearest restaurant is on site whilst the next closest is just a few metres in the other direction.
It is also situated just across from a lakeside beach area which is popular with the locals. The lake is wonderful to swim in if you fancy a change from the communal swimming pool.
This Italian Lakes 3 bedroom rental is also within walking distance of a supermarket and other shops. Finally, it's within walking distance of the boat stop where you can catch a boat to all the other towns and villages on the lake, making it the ideal location for those wishing to enjoy some sightseeing. Tennis courts and water sports hire are also within walking distance.

This is a great, family friendly Italian Lakes 3 bedroom rental. Most of the apartments in this complex have 2 bedrooms so this larger 3 bedroom apartment tends to get snapped up very quickly! We love how it's so family friendly and that the bedrooms can be made up as either twins or doubles ensuring that guests have the flexibility that they need with regards sleeping arrangements. Contact with Jo was fast and nice. Good instructions before arrival. Because of late arrival, keys were in a safe box outside the reception. Next day we went there for check in and information. Location is about 1h15m drive from Milan Malpensa Airport. It takes 45m to get to the high way. Lugano is a short 35m drive. From the apartment complex you have dramatic views of the lake and mountains. You can drive your car inside the parking garage. The complex is relatively new and all is fresh. There is a washing machine and dryer available for common use. The wooden deck at the pool is beautiful and the chairs are comfortable. The people at the reception are very helpful and you can rent a boat to go on the lake. Next door is great restaurant with lovely pizza’s. A small supermarket and bakery are on 5m walking distance. A large supermarket and more restaurants are located in Luino, which is a 10m drive. Our apartment had 3 bed rooms which is perfect for a family. All rooms, even the bath rooms, have individual and good working airco. The beds are comfortable. The interior is basic but fresh. Towels are provided however not for the pool (available to rent for €2/day). Unfortunately the rooms are really noisy, you can hear your neighbours below and above talking and especially moving chairs. Pay attention if you are sensible to that. The apartment is cool even on hot days. On the balcony you can also hear the other people talk. Another small minor is that the curtains are a bit small, so sun light can wake you up early. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay and would for sure recommend Jo’s place.
The apartment was spotless when we arrived and also looked very modern. Great that the kids had their own bathroom. It was a real bonus to have the main UK channels on the TV after our long days out. The only little things I would suggest would be perhaps having a microwave and a DVD player – for heating up quick meals and to put on a film for the kids. We loved the location – it was good having the lake-side playground as well as the one by the town hall. Thought Stresa and the islands were a fantastic day trip. We also had a brilliant day out at a swim/spa place in Switzerland – a bit pricier than Locarno I think, but a luxury treat for the whole family. We will definitely be back to the lakes in the future!
