Villa Vorno is a stunning luxury Tuscan villa, oozing elegance. It was once the Summer residence of a noble family from Lucca and in the past many key historical figures have stayed here, including Prince Frederick of Denmark and Norway. These days, it is available to rent so that holidaymakers can enjoy the opulent and sophisticated accommodation once enjoyed by royalty.
The decor inside this luxury Tuscan villa is stunning. You will find yourself staring in amazement at the beautiful frescoed walls and incredible antique furnishings. Glittering chandeliers, sumptuous rugs and beautiful panelling all add to the impression that you have taken a step back in time. The accommodation is arranged over four floors.
There are eleven frescoed bedrooms in total in this luxury Tuscan villa, all with ensuite bathrooms. If required, four additional beds can also be provided for a small additional charge. Six of these bedrooms are located on the first floor of the villa. Five of these have double beds (170cm x 200cm) whist the sixth can be laid out as either a twin or double room. Three of the ensuite bathrooms on this floor have both a bath tub and shower whilst the remainder just have a shower.
The remaining five bedrooms of this luxury Tuscan villa are on the second floor. Again, all have ensuite bathrooms, this time with showers. All are furnished with double beds (170cm x 200cm).
On the ground floor of this luxury Tuscan villa, there is also an impressive dining room, perfect for celebratory dinners. It can comfortably seat up to 26 guests. There is also a comfortable living room, laundry room (with both washing machine and dryer), a billiards and reading room and kitchen. Finally there are two WCs on this floor of this luxury Tuscan villa.
Please note that the price of this Lucca vacation rental includes a personal chef and housekeeper. The chef can prepare breakfast and either lunch or dinner each day (excluding Wednesdays). However, the cost of the food and drinks will be extra. This is charged at 15 euros per person for an Italian continental breakfast,45 euros per person for a meat menu and 55 euros per person for a fish menu. A complimentary daily maid service 6 days a week (excluding Sundays) is also provided as is a complimentary concierge service.
As well as the bedrooms on the first floor, this floor is also home to a stunning living room. Murano glass chandeliers hang from the ceiling and the room enjoys wonderful views over the gardens and parkland.
Outside, there is a pool house which is now home to a spacious fitness suite and gym. This is filled with both cardiovascular fitness equipment and weights. This luxury Tuscan villa is surrounded by mature Italian gardens. There is a large al fresco dining area where guests can dine under the stars. Its elevated position means that guests are treated to wonderful views over the surrounding countryside too.
A short distance away there are two tennis courts which are shared with the guests staying at the three other villas nearby. They can also be converted into soccer and volleyball fields if preferred. There is also a trampoline at the house itself ensuring that all members of the family have plenty to entertain them!

Here you will find a small supermarket and restaurant. Florence is 50 km away, Cinque Terre 60 km and Siena 80 km. For those who like the beach, the nearest beach is in Viareggio which is a 29 km drive from the house. The upmarket seaside resort of Forte dei Marmi is 39 km away.
There is plenty to see and do in the area around the villa. For those who enjoy walking, there are plenty of trails around Pizzorne and Mount Pisano. Many are also accessible on bike. There are also some beautiful nature reserves nearby to discover such as the Gherardesca lake and the WWF Bottaccio oasis. For those who prefer history, there are a number of historic villas nearby where you can enjoy a tour. These include Villa Bernardini and Villa Buonvisi. For those who just want to relax, there are thermal baths nearby at San Giuliano Terme. For those who enjoy sport, there is a horse riding centre just a 10 minute drive away whilst there is also a tennis and golf club just a 5 minute drive from the villa.
