This Paciano apartment rental is located within walking distance of the walled village of Paciano, a perfectly restored 13th century medieval village. Outside, the apartment is surrounded by olive groves with stunning views of the Tuscan and Umbrian countryside. The village has several excellent restaurants, a village store, some cafes and bars.
Guests staying at the property receive a very personal level of care and attention from the owners who live nearby. The owners will be more than happy to show guests around the old wine cellar at their farmhouse. The cellar contains more than 2000 bottles of carefully chosen wines and champagnes. Wine tastings can be arranged in the cellar. Alternatively, guided tours of wineries in Tuscany and Umbria can also be organised.
They can also provide an olive oil tasting session with a variety of olive oils, including their own organic extra virgin olive oil, which will help you to better understand the different flavour characteristics and how these are compatible to different foods.
In addition, the owner also runs cookery lessons, showing guests how to prepare a typical Umbrian meal using their organic produce, fresh from the garden.
This really is a very special place to stay.

You'll receive an incredibly warm Italian welcome and they'll be on hand to help you with anything you may need during your stay.

Planning a Holiday to Italy: The Ultimate Guide
The apartment provided the most wonderful accommodation for 2 weeks of total relaxation and an ideal base from which to explore the fantastic countryside, the main beautiful hilltop villages and endless places of interest all within a short drive. Whilst somewhat ‘bracing’ in October, the pool was still warm enough to take a dip and the views from the infinity pool are just amazing. The villa was well stocked with provisions on arrival and the owners who live just a stones-throw away were always on hand to help and point us in the right direction. Space in the accommodation was plentiful and it was well furnished; better still it is on the edge of the lovely little village of Paciano with a couple of great restaurants and a most friendly population of around 1000 souls.
