Lake Maggiore was the inspiration behind Bookings For You, after a wonderful family holiday on the lake back in 2007. We fell very much in love with the area after our weeks holiday on Lake Maggiore, going on to purchase a villa there and then to setting up a holiday rental company, specialising in villas in the Italian Lakes. These days, we are as fond of the area as we ever were although our portfolio of Lake Maggiore villas has grown rather significantly from the handful of properties we had on the Bookings For You website when we launched! Given the choice now available, we thought we’d select some of our favourite Lake Maggiore villas available to rent.
A firm favourite with our guests, Casa Casarini is a contemporary 3 bedroom property enjoying private use of a stunning infinity swimming pool and boasting incredible lake views. This is one of our most popular villas on Lake Maggiore and, not surprisingly, we see lots of guests returning year on year. Best of all, it’s suitable for absolutely everyone including wheelchair users.
Casa Belva is a luxurious and incredibly stylish 3 bedroom Lake Maggiore villa, Casa Belva ticks all the boxes! Not only will you find three incredibly stylish bedrooms and a stunning living space in the main villa, you’ll also have use of a separate pool house where you’ll find a second kitchen and living area along with a well equipped private gym. Whilst we recommend hiring a car for the duration of your stay, it’s a pleasant walk through the garden to the lakeside at Suna where you’ll find a good selection of restaurants, and just a short walk further to the lakeside at Pallanza where you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to shops and eateries.

A large lawned garden gently slopes down to the lake where guests can swim or enjoy a variety of water sports, whilst just a short walk away are a handful of restaurants along with a village shop. Whilst some lakeside villas can be positioned on busy main roads meaning traffic noise can be a problem, the opposite is the case here. The road is quiet and guests can be assured of a relaxing stay whatever time of year this villa in Ranco.
Occupying a charming spot within a rural hamlet on the hillside above the lake, with a mountain stream running down to one side and lake views to the front, Villa Sereni is a stylish, contemporary, family-friendly Lake Maggiore villa that is perfect for families.
