Il Casolino is a stunning villa providing luxury accommodation for up to 6 guests. It enjoys a private heated pool and offers ideal accommodation for a family holiday in Italy.
The villa has two double bedrooms on the ground floor and a third bedroom on a lower level. This bedroom has access to a small courtyard area offering some welcome shade from the heat of the Summer sun. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers. All are immaculately presented in neutral tones and all are spacious. With the exception of the bedroom on the lower level which is naturally cool, there is air conditioning throughout. There is also an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. A dining table seats six comfortably and there is also a sofa offering more relaxed seating. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, oven and hob. There is a TV with satellite channels. Outside, there is also a private heated pool (4m x 11m) measuring 1.5 metres in depth. Please note that pool heating is an additional charge payable locally as are internal heating costs when required, based on consumption. Loungers are provided and there is also an outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining. There is plenty of space in which to relax, as well as plenty of areas to explore including a walled garden and orchard with a variety of fruit trees. For those travelling as part of a larger group, there is also the option to rent an additional adjacent 1 bedroom villa. Please ask for more details. Please note that there is a 50 euro late arrival fee for any arrivals after 9 p.m. This must be paid in cash on arrival.
For those that can drag themselves away from this stunning property, the nearest beaches are only 8 km away and the nearest restaurant for those who enjoy dining out is just 3 km away. The property is also situated just a few miles from Ostuni. Known as the 'White City', Ostuni is a lively town with an excellent range of shops, restaurants and bars. The villa is also perfectly placed to explore the Valle d'Itria and its towns including Alberobello, Cisternino and Locorotondo. We would also recommend driving North to explore the caves at Castellana and the seaside town of Polignano a Mare. Of course, it's also an easy drive down to the South of Puglia from here too where you can visit Otranto and Lecce.
A note from Jo
This is a beautiful property. The owner has gone out of his way to use natural materials and a neutral, calming colour scheme. The decor is simple yet oozing with style. With the option of also renting an additional villa next door, it's also a great option for couples or families who are looking to travel together whilst still retaining a degree of privacy. Please note that if you don't need the extra space, then guests staying next door will not be able to use the pool area.
