Metal gates at the entrance to the estate lead to a long driveway that takes guests to the property. As you enter Trulli Puglia Rosa, you come into the main dining area. A circular table seats four and a small alcove is home to a small seating area and stone fireplace. The rest of the accommodation leads off this central space.
There are two charming bedrooms, both furnished with comfortable double beds. Neutral colour tones with just occasional splashes of colour provide a relaxing space in which to rest and unwind. There are also two bathrooms in the property. And there is a small but well equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, oven and dishwasher.
The property has been restored and furnished so that the original features stand out. The atmosphere throughout is warm and inviting.
Trulli Puglia Rosa is set within a 4 hectare estate filled with centuries old olive trees as well as cherry, almond, walnut and chestnut trees and Mediterranean shrubs. The setting really is idyllic - a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Outside, there is a stunning private pool measuring 40 square metres surrounded by loungers. A covered seating area adjacent is furnished with a comfortable outdoor sofa and armchairs. There is a second terrace a short distance away which has an outdoor table, perfect for al fresco dining.
Trulli Puglia Rosa is situated in Castellana Grotte in the heart of the Itria Valley. This is the landscape that guests conjure up when they think of Puglia - rural landscapes dotted with charming, picturesque trulli and with towns such as Alberobello, Locorotondo and Ostuni nearby to explore.
