The decor throughout is traditional and oozes rustic charm. Exposed beams, terracotta floors and original stone walls reveal its centuries-old history, while the interior, furnished with traditional furniture and interesting antiques, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The large private garden has soft lawns and is planted with roses, hydrangeas and aromatic plants. It is a wonderful oasis for guests to return to after a day spent sightseeing. Villa Peci is located in the vibrant heart of the Chianti Classico region, between Siena and Florence. The area is famed for its medieval castles, Romanesque churches and prestigious wine estates. We recommend guests visit the majestic Brolio Castle, the historic Badia a Coltibuono, and the picturesque villages of Ama and Volpaia during their stay. All are easily accessible from the house.
Pianella, with its shops and services, is approximately 5 km from Villa Peci, whilst Siena is just 18 km away. Also worth a visit are Monteriggioni (31 km), San Gimignano (56 km) whose towers rise from the hillside, and the evocative Abbey of San Galgano. Florence (84 km) can easily be reached for a day trip as can Arezzo (89 km).
