Family Friendly Villas in Italy

Family Friendly Luxury Holiday Villas in Italy

Italy is an absolute dream destination for families. Known for its warm, child-welcoming culture, incredible gelato, ancient ruins, and sun-soaked landscapes, it’s a place where families make lasting memories.

Our family-friendly luxury holiday villas in Italy welcome children, whatever their age or interests. They may provide additional toys and games for children to enjoy, have gated pools, or be equipped with a cot and highchair for little ones. What they all have in common, though, is that other families have tried and tested them and found them suitable for children of all ages.

If your family has specific needs, please get in touch, and we can advise which of our luxury Italian villas and apartments best suit you and your loved ones.

A quick look at a few family favourites across our Italian portfolio

Villa Alba is a family-friendly villa in Piedmont which offers plenty to keep children of all ages entertained. As well as a private pool, there is table tennis and table football in the garden as well as a play area with slide and swings.

This Italian Lakes apartment is great for families. There is a communal swimming pool and separate children’s pool on site whilst the beach sits just feet away. Within a short walk, you’ll find a charming play park, volleyball court and basketball area, whilst watersports hire is just a few minutes further on.

Villa l’Uva is a family-friendly villa in Umbria which has a private gated pool, giving peace of mind to families with young children. The sixth bedroom is in a separate dependence, which can work just as well for grandparents as for a nanny.

Frequently asked questions about our family-friendly villas

How can I verify if a villa pool is gated or fenced?

The villa description on our website should make it clear if the pool is gated or fenced. But if a fenced or gated pool is a non-negotiable for your family holiday, then do contact us to triple check. We certainly don’t want there to be any nasty surprises on arrival.

Can you supply extra baby and child equipment?

We can provide a cot and highchair at any of our family-friendly villas. Shutters often provide the perfect blackout blinds whilst many of our villas are also equipped with toys, games and child-friendly dinnerware. Most villas offer this equipment free of charge but there can be an additional fee so do check with us. Our free concierge service can also help provide any additional equipment you may require.

Can we arrange family-friendly activities like a private pizza chef?

We work with some fantastic local chefs who can run pizza and pasta making classes at your family-friendly villa rental. We also recommend gelato-making, pony trekking, truffle hunting, farm visits, boat trips, watersports lessons and much more.

Which region in Italy is best for travelling with very young children?

Each region of Italy offers something unique for families to enjoy. The Italian Lakes is perfect for waterbabies, whilst Tuscany and Umbria is ideal for nature lovers. We recommend beach lovers head to Puglia whilst Abruzzo is ideal for outdoor-loving families. And, of course, every Italian region is perfect for food-loving families.
