If required, additional beds or cots can be provided for a small additional charge. The master bedroom boasts an ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower whilst there is also a separate family bathroom similarly equipped with bath and shower, his and her sinks and bidet. Finally there is also a separate WC. In the second bedroom, the bed has been cleverly positioned so that guests can even enjoy the lake views whilst they are lying in bed whilst a comfort cooling system in both rooms ensures that all guests can enjoy a good nights sleep. All the rooms are positioned to make the most of the wonderful views, with French doors leading from both bedrooms as well as the open plan living area. Outside, the apartment occupies a prime position within the grounds of an ancient villa and has a large private terrace measuring 500 square feet. Guests can sit and relax here enjoying the views across the pool and gardens and over the rooftops towards the lake in the distance. Four loungers are provided on the terrace and there is also an outdoor table perfect for al fresco dining. For those that prefer the shade, parasols are provided. A short path leads from the terrace to the pool area and tennis court. The pool is shared with the residents of the 20 apartments on site and is open from 15 May to 30 September each year. Guests also have use of an additional lounger by the pool. The apartment is set in mature, landscaped gardens which are immaculately maintained throughout the year. The setting also ensures that guests will enjoy absolute peace and quiet.
A private garage provides parking for one car whilst additional parking can be easily found on the roadside. However, since the apartment is within a 10 minute walk of the lakeside at Mezzegra, it is possible to stay here without the need to hire a car. Mezzegra has a boat stop as well as good bus links to both Como and Menaggio. The village itself boasts a pretty lakefront piazza, a sports bar, 2 family-friendly cafu00e9 bars, a bakery, greengrocer, two supermarkets and a public park. It's just a short distance to neighbouring Tremezzina where guests can enjoy a visit to the famous tourist spot, Villa Carlotta, whilst it's also within easy reach of the pretty lakeside town of Menaggio and its golf club, the ferry links of Cadenabbia, the famous Villa Balbianello attraction of Lenno and the pretty lakeside villages of the western shore, towards Como.

We love this apartment. We really do think it ticks all the boxes..... incredible lake views, walking distance to shops and restaurants, a swimming pool and tennis court on site and a short stroll to the boat stop. On top of this it's family friendly and suitable for the infirm too. We think it's the best apartment within the estate too. It certainly has the prime position near the pool and the largest terrace!
